Murder charge after death in hospital

POLICE have charged a 45-year-old Inala man with murder after a man died in hospital yesterday from injuries received in an alleged attack in January.

The 51-year-old victim, a Durack resident, had been in hospital and unconscious after hitting his head on a ute during an altercation on January 10 on Freeman Road, Durack, in southern Brisbane.

The Inala man was remanded in custody to appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court tomorrow.
